Young Adult Programs
The Iowa Department for the Blind offers a variety of programs geared toward young adults who are blind or visually impaired and are making the transition from school to work.
Current Programs
Through a variety of fun and interactive activities, participants discover the value of learning problem-solving and non-visual techniques and learn a more positive way to view themselves and their vision loss. As a result, these young people develop the independence they need to take charge of their own lives.
Past Programs
This was a five-year grant project that ended in 2008. Information posted here is for reference purposes only.
